The question plays out a like an answer to a very complex round of Jeopardy.
Quite often we hear people say "Google it", to find information about almost anything on the Internet. The term "Google it" has become a common term used regularly in today's tech savvy online culture to identify an Internet search. As Google supplies over 80% of the Internet's searched traffic, it's no wonder this corporate brand name has become as popular as other product / brand connections like: Kleenex (tissue paper), KD (macaroni & cheese), Xerox (photocopy), etc.
But, how often has someone Googled you?
Employers now use Google as a first line of defence to screen potential employees and monitor existing ones. People in the dating scene will Google you to find out about you. Your local community group will Google your charity activities to get a valid picture of your experience. Politicians, actors, artists, and musicians can be Googled for a complete bio of there lives and sometimes a day-by-day account (Britney Spears).
So, who googled me / you?
Step 1
Start by googling yourself. Can you find yourself? What can you find out about yourself?
Step 2
See how often people Google you, by using this website (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal). Type in your name, fill in the security box, and click "get keyword ideas".
Look at the column that says "Average Search Volume".
Now you know how often people are searching for you.
Step 3
You still want to know WHO is Googling you?
Here's what you do:
Make a website, give it your name, and track your visitors using the Google Analytics system. You will be able to identify where people are visiting your website from; but, you will not be able to get there names unless you ask them to sign-up for an account on your website. They may use a fake name; but, this is as close as you will ever get = )
Have fun discovering "Who Googled Me".

Bemusement
With the proliferation of social network and other privacy busting hacks it's a wonder that so many netizens still choose to wear blinders where their personal info is concerned. And myriads more fail to understand that one individual's compromised info can have a significant ripple effect which may extend far beyond one's trusted contacts. Mere search engine queries are but the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
